On 26 October, our school, II Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. ks. Jana Twardowskiego, held its annual Family Science Picnic, and our students presented their projects developed in collaboration with students from Menntaskólinn í Reykjavík school in Iceland as part of the Air quality research as a path to knowledge project funded by EEA and Norway grants. Pupils from many schools in Dębica visited our stand and carried out experiments with us. They were especially curious about lasers and microscopes, moss in the box was creating interest as well. The visitors had the amazing opportunity to see how air pollution measuring equipment works. During one of the experiments, pupils observed how the concentration of dust particles increases when incense is burned. We also had some important guests from the town hall who admired the projects created by the students. It was a fantastic day.
