Conference On 22nd of March 2024, students from both schools summarised their work on the Polish-Icelandic scientific project 'Air quality research as a path to knowledge’ at a scientific conference. The invited guests were presented with the results of the research, the research methods used during the project and the various difficulties the young scientists faced. By presenting their achievements, the project participants showed that, despite their young age, they have a passion for science and a desire to solve pollution problems. At the same time, the project drew attention to the fact that environmental protection is not just a problem of one country, but of the entire international community. During the conference, students from the invited schools took part in an air protection knowledge competition and could win interesting prizes. An expert on the topic of pollution from the Copernicus Science Centre, Adam Zahler, was present and gave an interesting lecture summarising the projects.
