The aim of the project was to enable pupils from partner schools in Dębica and Reykjavik to create scientific projects to investigate air quality in aspects of their choice. The only criterion they had was using the measuring sets included in the Air Quality Module prepared by the Copernicus Science Centre in collaboration with the Polish Smog Alert. Project participants were divided into groups of four, and then chose an issue related to air pollution that interested them the most. Coming up with an initial thesis was not an easy task, as the factors influencing air quality in Poland and Iceland are very different. Students took on the assignment and eventually formed five research groups. Each team developed a thesis, drew up a research plan and then analysed collected data.
